        Members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) today celebrated the 56th birthday of President Goodluck Jonathan at the council chambers of the presidential villa.

       The brief celebration was done shortly before the commencement of the weekly meeting though the President is in London for the Honorary International Investors' Council (HIIC) meeting.

The Vice President, Namadi Sambo in a brief remark while presiding over the ceremony said it was a privilege to share from the grace of a God upon the President's life.

"We are privileged Nigerians sharing from the grace of God upon his life. There is no doubt the great destiny of this man has helped our individual destinies.

"What can we give him in return. We thank God for his life and also commend him for his guidance protection and the fear of God. We continue to pray that Mr President succeeds with his primary course of transforming our dear country," Sambo said.
