Police Arrest Man Who Took His Neugbour Body Out Of His Grave in Osun State

        A middle aged man identified as Oyeleke has been arrested for allegedly exhuming the dead body of a neighbour identified as Pa Olaniyan at Eweta area of Ikirun, headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun state.
       The man was reportedly caught by some residents of the area after he had dug the grave and exhumed part of the body of the dead person.

       According to the information provided, the suspect, who lived close to the grave side of Olaniyan - the man who died about five months ago - was caught at 11.30 pm by residents.
     The residents of the area, it was learnt moved out when the incident was discovered and collectively took the suspect to the Police station where he was eventually detained.
     Oyeleke lived with his aged mother in the area before he traveled to Kogi state where he stayed for over a year before he returned to the area where he allegedly committed the offence a week ago.
      Upon his return from Kogi state, it was learnt that the suspect was living with his mother and discovered that Pa Olaniyan who he left at home had died.
       A resident of the area who craved for anonymity hinted that a digger and a cutlass were found in the hand of the suspect when he was caught.
        According to the source, the suspect was caught after he had dug the grave and attempted to pick the dead body inside it.
         A senior Police Officer in Ikirun who preferred anonymity confirmed the arrest of the suspect, adding that investigations are ongoing on the matter.
