FIRE OUTRAGE- Union Bank Building Burnt Down in Abuja Yesterday
This is serious,
A three storey building located at Area 10, Garki, Abuja gutted fire
yesterday evening. The second floor of the building is occupied by Union
Bank Of Nigeria which is opposite the popular Cyprian Ekwensi house
known as the ‘Art and Culture Centre.’
According to the security on guard, the fire could have resulted from a spark on the second floor. The top last floor is completely destroyed. The popular Abuja furniture store, Hadar Situare is also affected . Furniture worth Millions of naira was destroyed.
The real cause of the outburst has not yet been identified.
With the help of Airforce fighters and the Federal Fire Fighters, 17 trucks of water was used to put off the fire.
