Edo-- Kidnappers Abandon Victim in Bush

                       A middle-aged woman who was kidnapped by gunmen at her shop in Auchi, Estako West local government area of Edo State, has been abandoned in a bush by her abductors.
                       The kidnappers left their victim at a bush near Agor village after they were chased by policemen.
                         Edo State Police spokesman, DSP Noble Uwoh, said the kidnappers used the victim’s car as a getaway but were given a hot pursuit by the police.
                         Uwoh said the kidnappers drove to a bush and fled, leaving the victim and the car behind.
He said one medium size single barrel gun and live cartridge were found in the car.
The police spokesman said the victim has been reunited with her family.
