Boko Haram Are Scared — Northern Governors

                      The Northern States Governors Forum chairman and Governor of Niger state, Mu’azu Aliyu revealed that the recent attack by boko haram in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state is proof that the group has been shaken by the ongoing military operation in their stronghold.
                     
Mr Aliyu revealed this in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Israel Ebije today and asked Nigerian living in these hot areas to remain calm.
Aliyu revealed that soon enough boko haram will be a thing of the past and the military under the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan is doing its best to put an end to insurgency in the North.
“Let me condole with the families of those who lost their lives in the recent Maiduguri blasts. It is indeed sad they had to die that way. I am however confident they did not die in vain. The terror group is only picking soft targets to appear relevant.”
“Our soldiers are working very hard to end terrorism in the North, I therefore urge Nigerians to eschew sentiments and support government of President Jonathan to win the war against terror. We must therefore stop politicising terror, we must see war against terror as our collective duty to God and mankind to end it.”
He told the people living in these areas to be vigilant and voice concern if they notice the movement of unfamiliar persons or group of people must be investigated.
HE also noted that soon enough the activities of Boko Haram will soon become history, stated that the effort of the military is a remarkable step towards bringing lasting peace to the trouble areas of the North.
He said more security measures should be put in place to ensure the forthcoming election does not record attacks.
