The Lagos State Government on Friday have rescinded the law of no restriction of movement for the usual lat saturday sanitation exercise.
Reports coming out this evening says that there will be freedom of movement tomorrow and the usual sanitation exercise will not take place.
The Commissioner for Information, Aderemi Ibirogba made the announcement on Friday in Ikeja while speaking with newsmen.

He stated that the suspended restriction was to enable pupils writing their  National Common Entrance examinations holding on the same day to move freely to their centres.
Ibirogba, however, stressed that the restriction did not mean total cancellation of the sanitation exercise, and further urged residents to use the opportunity to clean their environment.
“This suspension of restriction of movement is for our children writing the Common Entrance Examination who would need to move around. The restriction time from their homes to examination their centres. We, however, appeal to residents to still observe the period and use it to clean their environment for their wellbeing and that of the state,’’ he said
