Seun Kuti’s Scornful Advice To Nigerians On Xenophobia

                 Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti has added another dimension to the ongoing spate of Xenophobia attacks in South Africa.
                Unsurprisingly, the vocal son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti reasoned that Nigerians should have stayed back at home where ‘there are people willing to kill you because of a foreign god.’
He shared his thoughts on facebook, “NEWSFLASH: Nigerians don’t have to go to South Africa to find black people that want to kill u. At least in South Africa it’s because of money they hate u, here in your country there are people willing to kill you because of a foreign god. We in Africa especially those that will be alive in the next 50 years, have to organize and create the vision we want or just realize the worst is yet to come from our hazardous ruling class. Who will do anything to keep the dollars flowing. Is that who we really are? Let’s wake up. Join a movement near u. Let’s organize organize organize or we slowly face our demise.”
