Sad: Good Samaritan Brutally Killed As He Tried To Prevent S3x Assault (Photos)

                    Two people were being quizzed last night after a Good Samaritan was knifed to death as he tried to stop a sex attack on a woman.
                   Shane Murphy died after he confronted the woman’s attacker in Pallasgreen, Co Limerick, on Thursday.
The popular 31-year-old, who is originally from the Lee Estate area of the city, had been socialising in a house with friends at the time.Shane rushed out of the house when he heard the woman’s cries for help a short time later.

He rushed over to her to try and drag her attacker from her but the thug pulled a knife and stabbed him repeatedly.A 34-year old woman, who was also knifed, is being treated for non-life threatening injuries at University Hospital Limerick.She is expected to make a full recovery.

Gardai have arrested two men in relation to the vicious attack and they are being held in separate stations.
