CSO To Ex-President Jonathan Arrested (See)

Mr. Gordon Obua, the Chief Security Officer (CSO) to former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan during his 6-year tenure as President has been arrested. 

According to online media, Obua was taken into custody by the secret service, Thursday evening. The reason for the arrest of the employee of the State Security Service (SSS) is yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, the Society for Global Justice has called on the SSS to release Obua with immediate effect. The group through a statement issued by its Executive Director. Mr Marcus Ogabe, confirmed that Obua has been detained at the SSS headquarters in Abuja since Thursday. 

The Group called on Nigerians to take note of the tyrannical, autocratic and dictatorship tendency of the Muhammadu Buhari Administration as shown by the continued incarceration of the Chief Security Officer to former president Jonathan.
