Google Plus Is Dying, Twitter Is Growing, Snapchat Is Flourishing

Google Plus Is Dying. Twitter Is Growing. Snapchat Is Flourishing.
If you have argued with anyone on how much clout Google has, you should note that Google’s social network is not doing as well as its search platform.
On Monday, Google announced that it was creating a ‘more focused’ Google Plus experience by allowing Google plus users have a different YouTube account – that is, both networks will no longer be connected. Bradley Horowitz, vice president of Google’s streams, photos, and sharing stated:

So in the coming months, a Google Account will be all you’ll need to share content, communicate with contacts, create a YouTube channel and more, all across Google. YouTube will be one of the first products to make this change, and you can learn more on their blog. As always, your underlying Google Account won’t be searchable or followable, unlike public Google+ profiles. And for people who already created Google+ profiles but don’t plan to use Google+ itself, we’ll offer better options for managing and removing those public profiles.
Some are speculating that this is a sign that Google Plus is finally dying off. However, considering the growth Twitter is experiencing owing to its change in features and executives, Google plus might just be getting started.
Twitter, in May, was consistently said to be having a tough time bragging about rolling in the big social league because investors were not getting value for their money. Today, Twitter is said to have gained about 11 million unique visitors in June and has moved from 20th place to 12th place on comScore’s ratings.
Snapchat is the king of the growing social wolfpack right now. Snapchat’s user numbers has grown past Facebook’s. According to the WebpageFX infographic below, Snapchat has about 200 million monthly active users who send about 400 million snaps each day.
