Gov. Aregbesola FINALLY Declare State Finances (See)

Rauf Aregbesola, the governor of Osun state, has revealed how much money the state gathered in the past 4 years, putting the sum at N204 billion.
The figure is the sum total of both federal allocations and internally generated revenue over that period of time.
The statement was made through Aregbesola’s media aide, Semiu Okanlanwon, after the state’s former Head of Service, Segun Akinwusi had given another set of figures.
Akinwusi, who lost to Aregbesola in the 2014 elections in the state, claimed while giving a speech that the state got N317 billion in four years and not N204 billion.
“Elder Segun Akinwusi is inconsistent and that is highly nauseating considering the fact that he rose to become the Head of Service of Osun. In May, he raised a false alarm through his party, SDP, that Aregbesola should account for N846bn he had collected as allocation in the last four years,” the statement read.
“The same Akinwusi yesterday (Wednesday) said Aregbesola had collected N317bn in four years. Which one does he want Nigerians to believe?
“The facts that are verifiable state that Osun got from the federation account N177bn and when you add about N27bn as internally generated revenue in the same period to that, you get the N204bn.”
