Armed Hoodlums Apprehended By Policemen During Operation In Lagos Traffic (See)

 

During the onslaught against hoodlums that take advantage of traffic gridlock on some roads to rob innocent motorist, Police patrol team from Iponri Division on 18th August 2015, at about 8:30pm along Eko Bridge by Ijora encountered some armed hoodlums in the act of dispossessing motorist of their valuables.

One of the suspects a male of no fixed address was arrested after sustaining gunshot injury to his left leg while other gang members fled the scene with bullet wounds. Arrested suspect was taken to Hospital for treatment.

Efforts are ongoing to apprehend other fleeing gang members as well as other hoodlums that are engaged in this nefarious act. State CIID Panti Yaba Lagos is investigating.
