OBJ Explains Why He 'Hates' The Media (See)

Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has said what he hates about the media is ‘irresponsible journalism’, contrary to rumors flying around that he hates the media.


The former leader said this recently on his birthday,

held at his Hilltop Private Residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.

Obasanjo who opined that journalists have meaningful role to play in the society however said bad eggs in the profession must be gotten rid of.

The former president said although he has discussed in detail, the menace of the profession in his book 'My Watch', he would not cease to be blunt.
