13-Year-Old Boy Stabs His Mother To Death Before Going To School (Photo)

A teen was arrested on charge of murder after allegedly stabbing his mother to death before going to school in the morning, police in South Carolina said. Simpsonville police said that they have arrested the 13-year-old boy, who was not identified, after a construction worker found the dead body of his mother in a bedroom.

Police said that the boy, who has no criminal history, showed no remorse for killing his mother, 44-year-old Isabel Cristina Zuluaga.

She suffered multiple stab wounds to her body. Police used dogs to track down the teen and later found the murder weapon inside the house. A family court judge will decide if the child will be tried as an adult. The boy has good grades in school, and the motive for the attack is not known.
