South African media outlet City Press reports that AKA and Cassper, who trended on Twitter on several occasions in recent weeks, likely received R23 million worth of free publicity on social media.

Their diss tracks caused a frenzy on Twitter and were also a hot topic on Facebook. According to the paper’s social listening report, which was compiled by BrandsEye, fans in Nigeria, Botswana, Zambia, and America also joined the conversation.
