Gov Fayose, His Wife Spotted With Sultan of Sokoto This Morning (See Photos)
Sultan of sokoto arrives in Ekiti state for the installation of Sheikh Jamiu Kewulere Bello.
Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of
Sokoto and president-general of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic
Affairs arrived Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital this morning,
November 20.
The Sultan and his entourage were received by Governor Ayodele Fayose and his wife.
He is in the state for the installation of Sheikh Jamiu Kewulere
Bello as the president-general of League of Imams and Alfas in the
Southwest, Edo and Delta states.

This is the first time an Ekiti indigene will occupy the pinnacle of Islamic clergy in the eight states.
The Sultan will be presiding over the installation taking place at Ekiti Parapo Pavillion in Ado-Ekiti.

Abubakar was on Tuesday, November 17, installed as the chancellor of
the University of Ibadan at the institution’s 67th Foundation Day in the
Oyo state capital.
The Sultan recently gave tips on how to tackle insurgency in the
country. According to him, the country should focus on rebuilding the
socio-economic life of people, particularly those who live in the
Northeast where terrorism thrives.
