Too Sad! Meet The Family Which Is Currently ‘Suffering From A Curse’ This September (Photo)
A family identified as the Thobejane family of Tsatane Village
outside Jane Furse, Limpopo, South Africa believe that the month of
September for them is cursed.
This is following a series of misfortunes that has trailed them in the past few days.
According to Daily Sun SA, this September dad Patrick Thobejane (47) died suddenly, and just yesterday the family’s house and car burned to the ground!
Widow Tlagadi Thobejane (44) said they lost everything when the fire destroyed their 11-roomed home.
Tlagadi told Daily Sun that since her husband died the family have had no peace at home.
“His death brought ups and downs into our lives. His spirit troubles us. I can tell that my husband is not resting in peace.
“I have constant nightmares. Sometimes I dream that I am swimming in a pool of blood. I wish I knew what all the dreams meant,” she said.
Tlagadi said she had just stepped out to buy bread at the nearby spaza shop when the fire gutted the house.
“I lost everything my husband left for me. Maybe I am being punished, but I don’t know what for,” said the sad mum.
Her son, Khuto (17) is in matric.
“My school books have all been burned,” he said. “My dream of studying engineering ended in this fire. I write life science in trial exams on Friday.
“How am I going to study without books? I do not want to fail.”
Tsatane community spokesman Maloantwa Madingaana said the family needed help.
“As a community we are giving them all the support we can. We appeal to good Samaritans and business people to help the family rebuild their lives,” said Maloantwa.
Traditional healer Kon’asi Makhubele said she could not confirm whether the family suffered from bad luck, but she advised that they consult to find the reason for their misfortune.
“Bad luck can cause trouble for the family. They must not underestimate the power of the ancestors,” Kon’asi said.
