Unique Qualities Of The Major Tribes In Ghana (Photos)
There are many tribes in Ghana and most of the major tribes have certain qualities that are peculiar to them.
Here’re some characteristics that can be used to describe most of the major tribes in Ghana and here are a few of them
1. Frafra – Principled and Hardworking
Everybody in Ghana, mostly those who really know more about the
Gurune people popularly known as the Frafra, know that they are very
principled and hard working. They are also known to be incorruptible.
2. Akuapims – Disciplined and Respectful
One thing every Ghanaian can say about the Akuapims is that they are
very respectful and disciplined to the extent they have to even
apologize before insulting you.

3. Bono People – Humble and Patient
Whoever has associated himself with the Bono people will
attest to the fact that they are the most humble tribe in Ghana who
always desist from any form of conflict. You hardly hear anything bad
about them. Most Ghanaians tease them but you never see them react or
respond in any way.
4. Ashantis – Entrepreneurial
Most Ashantis are naturally good business men and women and believe
more in creating your own job than working for someone else. Even if
they attain the highest level of education, they will still start their
own business and do not really bother how small it is so far as it is
their own.

5. Fantis – nondiscriminatory
The Fantis are the most nondiscriminatory tribe in Ghana and
friendly with all the other tribes in Ghana. Most tribes in Ghana have
their own preference of tribes they wish to associate with.
Fantis harbor no resentments against other tribes.

6. Wala – Peaceful
The Wala people located in the Upper West region are one of the most peaceful Northern tribes in Ghana. Hardly do you hear any conflicts among them?

7. Gonjas – Hospitable and Joyful
The Gonjas are one of the most hospitable tribes you can find in Ghana. They are mostly friendly and welcoming. The current president of the country
is a Gonja and many don’t understand why he seems to be happy all the
time even after what everybody says about him, trust us, that is how all
his countrymen are, they take things easy all the time. You hardly see
them angry and unhappy.
8. Dagombas – Hate Injustice
The Dagomba people, from the Northern part of Ghana,
are one of the tribes who really hate injustice and this is usually
misconstrued to mean they are not understanding, this is a wrong
perception about them. They strongly believe in equality and justice and
so if it is not done that way, then they will be forced to disagree
with you.

9. Nzemas – Humble and Adaptive
The Nzemas are so adaptive and humble you can hardly make them out
when they mix with other tribes. They flow with every tribe in Ghana
with ease.

10. Ewes – Honest
Ewes are very honest in their doings.

11. Gas – Hate Injustice
The Ga tribe just like the Dagomba tribe also hate injustice and
believes in equality for all. They also believe in the rule of law and
makes sure everybody does what is right. They are also quite
conservative in many ways.
12. Krobo – Entrepreneurial and Hardworking
The Krobos just like the Ashantis also prefers making their own money
than to work for someone else but they believe more in trading and
agriculture than other businesses.
