Female Boxer Fights Off Two Men Who Tried To Rob Her In Public.

This is unexpected. A group of thieves who decided to rob a lady got more than they bargained for after their supposed victim floored one of them with her right hook. Kerry Orton, 30, elbowed the second attacker and jabbed him with her handbag before the two men fled empty handed.

Brave Kerry said: “A year ago I wouldn’t have even thought about defending myself. “Every woman should learn to box. It’s really empowering.”

Kerry, who has won two out of three matches, was attacked after getting off the bus to walk through a badly lit area to her Sheffield home.

One man of about 18 passed her and grabbed her arm, trying to get her bag, as another man appeared at her other side.

She said: “I punched the one on the right with a right hook and he took a tumble. “I hit the one on the left with my handbag, then hit the one on the right hand side and elbowed the one on the left. “The boxing made me confident to fight back.”
