Miss Malaika 2006 Arrested For Stealing an Unregistered Toyota Highlander

      According to reports, Miss Hamamat Montia, winner of Miss Malaika in 2006 has been arrested for failing to appear before a Ghanaian court.
She was reportedly accused of stealing an unregistered Toyota Highlander 2008, from her ex-boyfriend, Versa Keskinen.

Mr Versa claimed he made payment for the vehicle before travelling out of the country in a hurry for a business transaction. On getting back to the country, he was told that his girlfriend had already come for the vehicle.

It was later gathered that, Miss Hamamat registered it in her name and all efforts to get the vehicle back proved abortive. The case was reported to the Police and she was charged to court.
