Malaysian High Court Sentence Naija Man For Trafficking Drugs.
Prince Bartholowmew Obitube, 28, has been sentenced to death by Malaysian high court for trafficking drugs.
On February 26, the Shah Alam High Courtthe found the student guilty of trafficking cannabis, also known as marijuana. The
Shah Alam High Court yesterday Feb 26th gave the death penalty to
Obitube after he was found guilty of trafficking cannabis, also known as
marijuana.
Bartholowmew was arrested on Aug 20, 2011 with 9,189kg of cannabis at Desa Satu Apartment, Gombak .
He was caught by police from the Gombak Narcotic Crime Investigation Department, after a tip off, within the apartment area after he tried to run away with a backpack containing the drugs.
Under the Malaysian legislation, specifically the Dangerous Drugs Act, such an act is subject to mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
