US military carries out operation on terror group, Al-shabaab

The pentagon revealed today that the US military carried out an operation on Islamic militant group, Al-shabaab in Somalia.

Pentagon Press Secretary Rear Admiral John Kirby said;

"We are assessing the results of the operation and will provide additional information as and when appropriate,"

This is coming a day after some Alshabaab rebels detonated a car bomb and carried out a gun attack against an intelligence headquarters in central Mogadishu, leaving 12 people dead.
