Onwudiwe, the lawyer to embattled former petroleum minister, Diezani
Alison-Madueke, issued a statement on her health crisis.
He revealed that the ex-minister has been battling with Cancer.
An excerpt of the statement obtained Sahara Reporters reads
“The health crisis has unfortunately exacerbated in recent times.”
Adding that “she underwent chemotherapy last week and will be undergoing surgery next week.”
The former minister was arrested in London by the National Crime Agency (NCA) last week.
