Bride And Groom Stop Their Wedding Ceremony So They Can Watch TV Show (Photos)
A bride and groom had to stop their wedding ceremony so they could
watch a TV programme. The newlyweds Leanne and Stuart Mcsherry are such
big fans of the telly programme Still Game they halted their wedding
dinner so they could watch the comeback episode.
The return of the BBC 1 comedy series – about a pair of Glaswegian
pensioners – coincided with their nuptials . But the couple made sure
they didn’t miss the episode as they hosted dinner for their wedding
party, incorporating it into their big day in Edinburgh.
Leanne and Stuart had just been married in the capital’s Norton House Hotel when they surprised guests with their telly announcement.
The couple had planned their day around the return of the show after bride Leanne told Stuart she wouldn’t miss it for the world.
The couple even had to change rooms after the initial one they booked for their honeymoon night wasn’t big enough to accommodate their guests and came without a TV set.
