Football Coach Comes Under Fire After He Was Filmed Punching Student . Photos

A football coach landed himself in trouble after a video of him punching a child in the stomach went viral. The boy was asked to put his hands behind his head and close his eyes. The coach, Will Martin, then landed a punch right in the boy’s stomach – making him to fall to one side.

Mr Martin has been suspended by the school and is currently being investigated by the authorities.

However, some parents have defended the action of the coach saying it was simply “horseplay” and “what happens in football”.

Students at Beaumont High School in California have claimed this is not the first time this sort of punishment has been handed out, saying many team players had been punched.
