Woman Shot Dead By Her Estranged Husband Before Killing Himself. Photos

A 23-year-old former finalist on The Voice Cambodia was shot dead by her estranged husband at a beauty clinic shortly before the man turned the gun on himself. The songstress identified as San Sreylai, was gruesomely murdered at a beauty clinic in the upscale Boeung Keng Kang market neighbourhood of Cambodian capital Phnom Penh.

According to reports, police officers say the gunman is believed to be her ex husband, named as 53-year-old customs official Chey Rin, who then turned the gun on himself. But Phnom Penh Deputy Police Chief Song Ly declined to give any further details about the murder-suicide, saying only that an investigation is ongoing.

Family and friends have since come out to say the relationship was aggressive, with Rin often abusive. It is reported that the pair have two young sons.
