The tale of Olamide, Bigiano and Reminisce

       Just a few years ago, Bigiano was one of the hottest music artists in Nigeria courtesy of his monster hit song, Shayo. He performed all over the nation and outside, shot its video in South Africa, released his debut album and was well celebrated as was his due.
       During that period, which was

 between 2007 and 2009, a certain Olamide and Reminisce who were budding rappers yet to properly hit the limelight approached Bigiano to assist them in their music careers.
       Bigiano’s answer to the hustlers wasn’t in any way encouraging. Fast-forward to 2013. Olamide and Reminisce are now in-demand music artists. Bigiano is still popular and respected but not commanding the attention he did with Shayo while people can’t get enough of Olamide and Reminisce.
      And at an awards ceremony organised by a media outfit, the paths of the three crossed again. This time around, it was Bigiano who approached Reminisce to pay homage to him the way an artist salutes an artist greater than hi.
