A Maiduguri-born man has been paraded for raping his 10-year-old daughter.

Sahara Reporters report that the newly-deployed Commmissioner of Police in Borno State, Adoda Clement, has paraded four men for crime related offenses in Maiduguri. Amongst these suspects is Ali Idris who raped his ten-year-old child daughter.
Also, one Bana Kyari, another resident of Maiduguri metropolis, who allegedly raped a three-year-old was paraded. Twenty-two year old Ahmadu Bajoga Bello, another member of the group of suspects paraded, was said to have killed one Abdullahi Saidu over N200 he owed the deceased.
Bello, who is from Wuyaku village in Biu Local Government Area allegedly committed the offence in 2010 but absconded, he was however arrested August 31st, 2014. According to the commissioner, “The suspect, who was arrested on 31st of August, 2014 has since made a confessional statement admitting to the offence. He divulged that his sordid act was over a debt of N200 he was owing the deceased.”
Abdulraman Iliyasu, who is 24, was arrested for allegedly killing an immigration officer in the Pompomari area of Maiduguri. Although the commissioner made it known that Abdulraman alongside another suspect still at large, were hired as a decorator by the deceased officer, Stephen Musa Bassi, before he was inhumanly murdered.
“The duo buried him within the compound premises before escaping to an unknown destination. After an extensive and painstaking investigation and intelligence-gathering by a team of detectives from the homicide section of the department of criminal investigation, led by ACP Tajudeen Aderinko, the principal suspect, Abdulraman Iliyasu, was eventually arrested in Kano,” CP Clement explained.
The commissioner however made it known that all the suspects will be charged to court after investigations into the crimes have been concluded.
It would be recalled that just recently, a housewife, Uzoima Patrick, and her husband, Ezechima, were arraigned before the Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos over rape of their house help.
