Today (September 29) is the birthday of veteran actress, Joke Silva. She was born September 29, 1961 in Lagos, to Chief Emmanuel Afolabi Silva and Dr. (Mrs) Marianne Abimbola Silva. She attended Holy Child College, Obalende, Lagos for her secondary school education. She studied English at the University of Lagos (Nigeria), and later , Drama at the Webber Dougla s Academy of Dramatic Art (London, England).
