Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Donates N3.5m Clinic To Village in Gombe State

 

       A non-governmental organisation (NGO), Hope for the lonely, on Friday said it constructed a maternity clinic in Kupto village, Funakaye Local Government Area of Gombe State.
       The Programme Manager of the NGO, Mr Bachama Yusuf, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Gombe.
        Yusuf said the NGO spent N3.5million to build the clinic and the local government would provide the manpower and other facilities needed.

        According to him, the structure is already completed and before the end of first quota, it will be handed over to the local government.
       “This will go a long way in reducing the problem of maternal mortality and other related problems,” he said.
      The programme manager said the Gombe-based organisation accessed its fund from Action Aid International.
       He appealed to government at all levels, individuals and corporate organisations to come to its aid to enable it assist more of the needy in the society.
