Breaking News: EKSU Epe Campus Protest against going for Teaching Practice (See Photos)

 

There was a protest on EKSU Epe campus in affiliation to MOCPED this morning as students matched to the degree office that they won’t go for such an impromptu Teaching Practice (TP) just because the management are finding ways to calm the students in fighting for their rights/future, after waisting couples of years in school without reasonable proves of being a student/undergraduate even as past two sets that had graduated has not gone for service (NYSC) due to delay of results and more.

  

 

 

Above as the management paste a notice on the school gate yesterday that students should start going to their appointed TP schools without attending to  the problems on at hand, the students felt this is a way of calming them down/sending them out of campus in order for the NCE students to write their examination.
Due to the protest the degree students made last week, that they won’t go for TP nor write examination if they don’t see their previous results and solutions to all their request. 

 

Above as the Provost Mr Akewushola attended to the students when they matched to the degree office this morning and promise that there will be solutions to the problems and this has always been his promise still no fulfilment.
We just hope there will be solution this time as he had also agreed with the students that the management will pend the TP until there are reasonable solutions to the students request.
We hope government and people can help fight this situation as most students promised future is at stake and the money the parents of the students are spending in order for their children to have a brighter future as we all believe Education is the best Legacy!
