Toilet Odour Chases Lawmakers Out Of National Assembly
Members of house of representatives were forced to adjourn their sitting till November 17 after stench from the National Assembly’s toilets did not let them breathe.
According to reports, the bad odour from the National Assembly toilets coupled with lack of water made the lawmakers to quickly review the motions before them. They odour was so bad that it oozed into the green chambers where the house members were seated.
The sitting which was presided over by deputy speaker, Yusuff Lasun, had to hurriedly adjourn the sitting.
A member of the house representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency of Cross River State, Michael Etaba, had in a point of order lamented that the entire environment was smelling and that water was not running in his office. He said that the chamber was not conducive as a result of the stench.
Meanwhile, toilet photos of the Nigerian Immigration Service in Festac hit the internet. The images are something to be worried about.
